A MASKED Samurai-sword wielding raider terrified a family in a night-time raid on their Dalton home.
Three attackers burst into the family home in Dalton at about 9.40pm last night.
The trio, one with the sword and another brandishing `a large knife' threatened the terrified family including a seven-year-old boy and demanded cash.
The masked gang fled with £100.
Det Con Brin Taylor, of Huddersfield CID, said the family were shaken after the attack.
He added: "It was a terrifying ordeal and we are urging anyone with information about this incident to contact Huddersfield CID on 01484 436582 as a matter of urgency."
