A TEENAGER waved a curved sword at a man and shouted racial abuse at him.
The African-Caribbean victim was walking on Sufton Street in Birkby when he was confronted by the youth at 6pm yesterday.
The youth insulted and jabbed the sword at the victim, who then ran away.
The teenager was described as Asian, aged about 15, 5ft 5in tall, with short black hair and a scar on his face.
He wore grey jogging bottoms and a dark blue hooded top.
