KIND-hearted employees have raised cash for a disability charity’s mini bus appeal.

The staff from Syngenta pay cash direct from their wages into the Syngenta Employees Charity Fund.

The company then matches the tally raised, which several good causes benefit from each year.

One of these was Leonard Cheshire Disability, which received £1,200.

The cash will be used to boost the charity’s minibus appeal for its Beechwood Cheshire Home, based at Edgerton.

Representatives of the Syngenta Employees Charity Fund Jane Denton, Susan Walsh and Carl Sykes, presented the cheque to some of the residents.

The charity, which provides care for physically disabled people, is on a mission to raise £28,000 for the home’s minibus appeal.

The specially-adapted vehicle would be used by residents for outings, maximising their independence and quality of life.
