COLNE Valley Round Table has chosen Malcolm Coton as chairman for the forthcoming year.
Malcolm, who is a recruitment consultant, said: “It is a great honour to be elected chairman of Colne Valley Round Table as the premier Round Table in the Huddersfield area.”
He said he looked forward to developing the community-focused work that the organisation had tackled in the past.
Colne Valley Round Table meets on the second and fourth Tuesday in the month at The Wheel Inn, Golcar, at 8pm.
New members are welcome and anyone with an interest in joining Round Table, or needing help with a community activity within the Colne Valley should contact the honorary secretary Andrew Thornes on 07879 840 429.
