A GOLCAR takeaway has been awarded top marks for its hygiene.
Mario’s takeaway on James Street was awarded the maximum five stars by Kirklees Council officials carrying out an unannounced Scores On The Doors hygiene inspection.
The takeaway received a “very good” rating in structural compliance, “high” for confidence in management and “good” in the compliance with hygiene category.
Owners Mohammed and Maquoodan Amin said they were delighted.
