A TEENAGER has been left critically ill after losing control of his motorbike.

The 17-year-old collided with three vehicles on Blackmoorfoot Road at 6.05pm on Saturday night.

A police spokesman said that the male teenager was riding along the Crosland Moor road when he lost control of the vehicle.

The officer added: “He ended up colliding with three vehicles in total, including a Transit van as he came to a stop.

“It left him with serious head injuries and internal injuries.

“The people in the other vehicles were not hurt, but were shaken by the incident.”

The incident happened around 200m from the former St Luke’s Hospital.

The officer added: “If anyone saw the incident we’d ask them to call us on 0845 6060606”.
