A TEENAGER arrested in connection with a firework attack which killed a dog has been released on police bail. The 19-year-old from Linthwaite had been detained and questioned about the death of a Yorkshire terrier called Emmie. At least three people are thought to have been involved in the sickening incident at Gilroyd Lane at 10.50pm on Thursday when fireworks were allegedly fastened to Emmie, a much-loved pet belonging to Keith and Maureen Barrington who live in Linthwaite. Members of the group are thought to have filmed the incident on mobile phones.
