TWO teenagers were jailed after repeatedly ignoring a court order to stay away from one another.
Idris Hussain, 19, of Savile Park in Halifax and a 17-year-old, who cannot be named, from Huddersfield, are due to be sentenced at crown court on January 26.
The pair pleaded guilty to handling stolen goods.
One of their bail conditions was to not contact each other.
But they were before Huddersfield Magistrates’ Court yesterday after being arrested for breaking this condition.
District Judge Marie Mallon heard that this was their third breach of the bail.
She was told that on this occasion the pair were seen out in a car together in the early hours of the morning.
They had already breached the order in October and December.
The teenagers’ solicitor said that the pair had found it difficult to stay away from each other.
He said that the latest breach happened when one was giving the other, who was drunk, a lift home.
But Judge Mallon told them that they had run out of excuses.
She told the pair that they would remain in custody until their sentencing date at Bradford Crown Court.
