A TEENAGER who robbed shopkeeper Gurmail Singh two days before his death after another raid was back in court yesterday.

Prosecutors said the 17-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was alleged to have breached his curfew on Tuesday.

However, after hearing evidence from the teenager and his mother, Huddersfield magistrates found in his favour.

On Tuesday the A-level student, before Huddersfield Youth Court,admitted robbing Cowcliffe shopkeeper Gurmail Singh two days before he died.

He was bailed until March 30 for sentencing.
