A MAN accused of murdering a Huddersfield teenager has been told his trial has been fixed for next March.

Christopher Hill, whose 40th birthday was on Tuesday, made his first appearance before a judge at Bradford Crown Court yesterday morning.

He was further remanded in custody after a brief preliminary hearing.

Hill, of Highroyd, Lepton, has been charged with the murder of 18-year-old Robert Broadbent, also of Lepton.

Robert’s body was found in the Fitness First car park at Lockwood Park this month.

He had been stabbed.

Hill was told his trial would start on March 5 and is expected to last about 10 days.
