A MAN was robbed of his supermarket shopping.

The 61-year-old got on the 328 bus outside Sainsbury’s in Market Street in Huddersfield town centre.

But moments after getting off the bus in Fartown and walking along Abingdon Street he was robbed.

He was targeted by two teenage thieves who are thought to have been on the bus.

They forced him to hand over his shopping.

One thief is African-Caribbean, aged 17 or 18, about 6ft tall and slim.

He wore a red zip-up jacket and a black peaked cap.

His accomplice is of mixed race, aged 16 or 17, small and slim.

He wore a blue hooded top.

The theft happened about 1.30pm last Wednesday, but police have only now released details.
