POLICE believe a man who threw a stone inside a mosque was part of a gang which later attacked a teenage boy.
The first incident was on Monday at 7.30pm when a white man went into a mosque at North Road in Ravensthorpe and threw a stone before escaping in a silver Vauxhall Vectra.
No-one was hurt.
Police say the next day at 7pm a gang of white men drove up to a 15- year-old boy and threw a substance at him at High Street, Heckmondwike.
Insp Martin Lister said: "Nuisance behaviour like this will not be tolerated."
