A TEENAGER has appeared in court accused of assault and criminal damage.
The 16-year-old, who cannot be named, was before Kirklees magistrates yesterday.
The alleged attack on his former girlfriend took place on May 3.
The teenager, of Thornhill in Dewsbury, was granted conditional bail by magistrates.
The conditions are on residence, an electronically monitored curfew and no contact with the complainant and her child.
He will next appear before the Youth Court in Huddersfield on May 9.
