A teenager accused of dealing drugs in Huddersfield missed court - after being charged with murder.
Jamal Buckle, 18, was due before Kirklees magistrates to face a charge of possessing cannabis with intent to supply it.
But magistrates heard he is in custody charged with murder.
Buckle has been accused of killing 22-year-old Sean Annandale. Mr Annandale, from Lindley, died in Huddersfield Royal Infirmary last August shortly after he was stabbed following a disturbance at an address in Elmfield Avenue, Golcar.
Mr Annandale, who had been working as a builder, suffered four stab wounds.
The alleged drugs offence happened in Huddersfield on August 23.
The court was told that Buckle is currently on remand at HMP Leeds.
