A TEENAGER has appeared in court accused of having an imitation firearm in public.

Jamie Hargreaves, 18, was before Huddersfield magistrates yesterday.

The teenager, of Bentley Street, Lockwood, is charged with possession of the Black Typhoon air pistol. He is said to have had the weapon at Bishop’s Court, Berry Brow, on August 1.

Hargreaves case was adjourned for further information. He will next appear before the court on October 24. His unconditional bail was continued.
