A man was left with a “puncture wound” after being attacked by three men in woods at night.

Detectives say the 19-year-old man was walking his dog through Caulms Wood, Dewsbury, when he was set upon by three Asian males.

The incident happened at about 7.30pm on Sunday.

The victim was assaulted and as he made his way home he found a small puncture wound on his body.

The first suspect is described as stocky in his early 20s and wearing a dark hooded tops.

The other two suspects are thought to be in their late teens, average build and also wearing dark hooded tops.

DC Simon Thomas, of Kirklees CID, said: “I would like to urge anyone who saw these three suspects in the area on Sunday or saw anything suspicious to come forward to assist with the investigation.

“Anyone with any information about this incident is asked to contact myself via 101 quoting reference 13160111054.”
