A teenager has appeared in court after ignoring his bail conditions.

Leon Shooter, 18, was before Kirklees Magistrates’ Court in custody.

He faces trial over charges including attempted robbery.

In the meantime his bail conditions include a curfew at his home in School Street, Moldgreen.

The teen was arrested after being out for 20 minutes past the start of his curfew on Saturday (June 25).

His solicitor Sonia Kidd explained that his bus failed to turn up and he was forced to walk home.

District Judge Michael Fanning bailed Shooter on the same conditions as previously.
