A TEENAGE boy was robbed and beaten at knife point in Marsh.

The 16-year-old was walking on Eldon Road at 6.30pm on Thursday when he was approached by two men who threatened him with a knife.

The suspects then kicked and punched him to the floor before stealing his mobile phone, some cash and a set of keys.

He had been walking to the park to meet a friend at the time.

The victim suffered cuts and bruises, but did not require hospital treatment.

Officers have been carrying out house to house enquiries and are checking local CCTV cameras.

Police are looking for a mixed race man, of a stocky build, around 5ft 10ins tall, clean shaven and aged around 18.

The second suspect is described as being Caribbean, of stocky build, around 5ft 10ins tall and between 17-18-years-old.
