TWO teenagers have appeared in court over damage caused to a house.
Tom France, of Longley in Hade Edge, and Ryan Sanderson, of Roaine Drive in Holmfirth, were before Kirklees magistrates yesterday.
The pair, both 19, were charged with damaging a door and window worth £250 at a house in Holmfirth.
Sanderson faces a further allegation of assaulting the property’s owner.
Their solicitor Sonia Kidd asked for magistrates to adjourn the teenagers’ case.
She said that police were happy to issue a caution and she was awaiting confirmation of this. Magistrates agreed that the case would be adjourned until August 3.
If the caution is given to France and Sanderson do not need to attend court again.
