READ all about it ... Colne Valley Male Voice Choir chairman John Lees (pictured) took his message on to the streets to promote the choir’s concert this week.
He hoisted posters on a stick to mingle with shoppers to push the choir’s Grand Charity Concert in Huddersfield Town Hall tomorrow with their guests Black Dyke Band and Colne Valley Boys Choir.
Proceeds from the event, sponsored by Holmfirth Dyers Ltd, will go to the Forget Me Not Children’s Hospice and Kirkwood Hospice.
