A BUS driver was robbed at knifepoint.

He was driving along Keldregate in Deighton when he saw two men standing in the middle of the road at 7.40pm on Saturday.

One got on and asked what time the bus arrived in Dewsbury.

The driver said the bus did not go there. The thief then pointed a large knife at him, grabbed the cash bag, jumped off the bus and fled.

He is an African Caribbean in his late teens to early 20s, 5ft 6in tall and slim to athletic build.

He had dark eyes and very short hair and wore a light blue hooded top.

His accomplice is white, in his early 20s, 6ft tall and slim. He had untidy brown hair and wore a red hooded fleece top.
