THIEVES escaped with a haul of perfume in a ram raid at a town centre store.
The gang attacked the Boots store in the centre of Dewsbury at 10.20 last night.
They smashed a red L-registered Vauxhall Astra through the double doors, ran in and grabbed the perfume.
They then fled in the car.
The break-in triggered a security device inside the store, filling it with cosmetic smoke.
This disorientates intruders and makes it difficult for them to see the stock.
Dewsbury firefighters were called to use a giant power fan to clear the smoke from the store.
