OWNERS of two types of cars have been urged to beef up their security.
The warning comes from police after thieves targeted Audi TTs and Ford Focus cars, mainly stealing alloy wheels.
Det Con Jim Carter, of Huddersfield police, said: "These two types of cars have been targeted by thieves in recent weeks.
"We are urging motorists to take extra security precautions.
"Park them in your garage if possible or upgrade the car's security system.
"When going out leave them under street lights or in areas of the town centre which are cover- ed by CCTV cameras."
