THIEVES raided a Newsome shop and broke its ATM and made off with cash.
The burglary took place at Simply Food and Drinks on Church Lane in Newsome sometime between 10pm on Tuesday and 9am today.
They broke in through the roof, damaged the cash machine and made off. Police have not yet established how much property the thieves stole.
