AN amazed crime victim discovered thieves had stolen his car bonnet.
The thieves broke into the silver W-registered Fiat Brava on New Hey Road, Outlane, last night.
They opened the bonnet - and then removed it.
The victim discovered the crime at 5.30am today.
Sgt Tim O'Sullivan, of Huddersfield police, said: "It may be the thief has a silver Fiat Brava with a damaged bonnet and so stole it as a replacement.
"Or it could be there is a Fiat Brava of another colour now being driven around with a silver bonnet."
