DETECTIVES in Kirklees and Leeds are searching for thieves who raided three cigarette deliveries.
In each incident a "substantial" amount of cigarettes were stolen.
In the first incident at 8am on Friday in Bramley, Leeds, a delivery driver had gone into a pub to fill up a vending machine.
When he returned a window in his van had been smashed and a large amount of cigarettes taken.
At lunchtime the same day a different driver went into a Deighton cash and carry to make a delivery.
When he came out a window in his van had been smashed and cigarettes stolen.
In the last theft, at 4.30pm, a driver returned to his van after filling up a Lindley pub vending machine to discover cigarettes had been stolen from his van.
The same method of entry was used in all three thefts.
Det Con Dave Johnson said a white Ford Escort was spotted at the scene of all three thefts.
He added: "We would urge anybody with any information on these thefts to come forward."
Anyone with information should call 01484 436734.
