YOUNGSTERS are being urged to pull out all the stops and write about their latest bus trip.
Bus company Arriva wants Huddersfield youngsters to take part in a new campaign aimed at getting them to use their imagination while they travel.
A national Arriva storybook is being produced which will be available free to children across the country during Children's Book Week in October.
Young writers are being asked to write about anything related to their journey on a bus, their driver, or about a dream journey on an Arriva bus.
Phil Stone, managing director of Arriva Yorkshire, said: "The competition is a fantastic opportunity to get the creative juices working and for youngsters to see their stories published and read by thousands of other children across the UK."
As well as seeing their name in print in the Arriva national story- book, the winning author will also win a book of their choice every month for a year to give them further inspiration and ideas.
Children aged 12 or under should send entries of no more than 150 words with their name, address and age to Arriva Storybook, PO Box 9698, Sutton Coldfield B72 1GA by April 30.
