DEWSBURY’S David Ramsden was reunited with his family at the weekend, after finishing third in the Big Brother reality TV show.
Sophie Reade was crowned the winner of Big Brother 10 after being the only girl to make the live final.
The glamour model, who was the bookies’ favourite, looked shocked when her name was read out by the show’s host Davina McCall.
She hugged runner-up Siavash Sabbaghpour and shook her head in disbelief.
McCall said Sophie won £71,320 which had been returned to the prize fund when housemates completed tasks.
The remainder of the £100,000 prize money, which was taken away when the housemates tried to break out, would go to charity.
David, 29, works as a recycled clothing sorter and eBay retailer.
He adores fashion, especially Dame Vivienne Westwood, and dislikes being labelled as “gay”.
David, who gave his sister a car, claims that he’s unlucky in love, and is usually dumped.
He admits that he’s only been in love once in his life and vows that he will fall in love again.
While in the house, David received a card from his idol, Dame Vivienne. He burst into tears, saying: “This means the world to me; it would be like meeting the Queen!”
