Honley man has appeared in court charged with a so-called ‘revenge porn’ offence.
Thomas O’Connor, of Scotgate Road, was before Kirklees Magistrates’ Court yesterday.
He is charged with disclosing a private sexual photograph without the consent of the victim with the intention of causing her distress.
The 24-year-old faces a further allegation of assaulting the same complainant.
The court heard that O’Connor posted a naked photograph of the woman online.
He denies the charge and his trial will be held on June 10.
In the meantime he is banned from contacting the woman or going to her home.
