A TEENAGER has appeared in court accused of possessing Class A drugs.

Mass Nying, of Thornton Lodge, was before Huddersfield magistrates yesterday.

The 19-year-old is accused of having in his possession 2.66 grams of cocaine and 4.16 grams of diamorphine.

He is also alleged to have had on him a bladed article, a kitchen knife.

The alleged offences tool place at De Trafford Street in Crosland Moor on September 5.

Nying made no indication as to his plea.

He will next appear before the court on February 17 when his case will be committed to crown court.
