A TEENAGER was forced to withdraw cash from his bank during a daylight robbery in Huddersfield town centre.

A man approached the 18-year-old victim in Market Place between noon and 12.30pm on Wednesday.

The man pretended to know his victim and engaged him in conversation.

But he then made threats and demanded that the victim withdraw cash from the nearby NatWest bank.

The teenager feared for his safety, so withdrew cash and handed it over.

The robber is described as an Asian in his early 20s and 6ft tall.

He has spiky black hair and acne on his face.

He wore a black jumper or cardigan.
