DRIVERS face road works over the next three months between Netherton and Lockwood.

Much-needed resurfacing work will start on the B6108 Meltham Road from September 17.

The scheme, costing around £650,000, will replace the worn-out road surface, repair drains and walls and renew the kerb.

The scheme will start from the junction of Hanson Lane in Lockwood and finish at the boundary of Netherton village. Most of the work will see the use of temporary traffic signals.
