THREE Huddersfield men have gone on trial - charged with the murder of this young nightclubber.

Michael Hanley, 23, was gunned down outside Sheridan's Bar in Ravensthorpe in December, 2005.

He was shot in the stomach outside the bar in the Calder Wharfe Mills complex on December 27.

The three men - Jamie Hislop, 22, of Sheepridge, Darren Foley, 18, of Dalton, and Shane Thomas, 23, of Longroyd Bridge - have all denied murder at Leeds Crown Court.

Another man, Igor Stimic, 20, of Holme Park Court, Berry Brow, has denied perverting the course of justice.

The trial is expected to last for several days.

Mr Hanley, a single man of Harehills, Leeds, was one of 200 clubbers at the bar on the fateful evening.
