THREE people were fined after selling alcohol to underage teenagers.
Police officers in Brighouse, Elland and Rastrick conducted test purchases at 13 off- licences last week. Alcohol was sold to minors at three of them.
In each case. the person making the sale was issued with an £80 penalty ticket.
A spokesman for West Yorkshire Police said: “We will carry out similar checks in the run-up to Christmas or where we are receiving reports of sales to minors.”
