A BOY was punched and robbed as he watched his friends skateboarding.

The 14-year-old victim, from Cowcliffe, was with friends in the grounds of Fixby Junior and Infant School when two attackers crept up behind him at 9pm on Thursday.

They grabbed him round the neck and pulled him to the ground, then rifled through his pockets.

They stole a mobile phone and a small amount of cash.

The boy was also punched in the face which left him bruised.

One of the attackers is a stocky, mixed-race man. He wore black jogging bottoms with the Nike motif on the top left side and red TN trainers.

His accomplice is well- built and about 6ft tall.

About four other people were with the robbers.
