BIG Brother finalist David Ramsden's Ravensthorpe home has been wrecked during a break-in.   A friend of clothes sorter David's discovered the burglary when she to check on the flat.

The TV, stereo, and laptop are among items swiped from the pad.

Paint is also reported to have been splashed up the walls of the flat.

A knife was used to slash a sofa - and the weapon was left in the damaged furniture.

Now the former Mirfield Free Grammar pupil's family is preparing to break the bad news to him when he leaves the Big Brother house on the final night of the series tomorrow.

His sister, Leanne, 27, from Heckmondwike, said: "It's a bit upsetting – you can only think whoever did this had seen him on TV and knew he wouldn't be around."

West Yorkshire Police confirmed they had been called on Monday afternoon to a report of a burglary at an address on Spen Valley Road.

Anyone with information about the incident should ring Dewsbury CID on  0845 606 0606.
