A WOMAN was treated for smoke inhalation after a Ravensthorpe house blaze.
Firefighters from Cleckheaton and Batley were called to Lee Road at about 6.15pm on Wednesday night.
Neighbours reported hearing a loud bang as a mattress in the front bedroom burst into flames.
A woman was led to safety and given oxygen by firefighters.
She was later transferred to hospital but her injuries were not thought to be life threatening.
Fire crews used two sets of breathing apparatus, one hose reel and a pressure ventilation system to deal with the blaze.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
