A MAN and a woman were arrested after police raided a suspected cannabis factory.

A MAN and a woman were arrested after police raided a suspected cannabis factory.

Officers were searching the house on Commercial Road in Skelmanthorpe for much of today following a tip-off.

A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said: “The remnants of a cannabis farm were discovered.

“A man and a woman were arrested on suspicion of cultivation and trafficking of a controlled drug.

“They are currently in custody.”
