PEOPLE still have the chance to buy tickets for a fundraising event. The Jitterbug Ball is being held to raise money for the Breakthrough Breast Cancer charity and will be at Leeds United's Elland Road ground on Saturday, October 1. The ball will have a 1940s' theme, with a shooting gallery, marching bands, auctions and music to jitterbug to. Dress is black tie or 1940s' uniform. Tickets are £50 per person. The price includes a three-course dinner and champagne reception. The charity's West Yorkshire branch was formed by a group of Huddersfield women. Last year they cast off their inhibitions - and clothes - to create a calendar. For tickets call Rosalyn Raine on 07799 061599.
