FIREFIGHTERS had to rescue a toddler trapped in a toilet.
The boy had gone into the bathroom at his home on Lingards Road in Slaithwaite at 8pm yesterday and then pushed the bolt on. But he could not open it again and his worried mum called the fire service.
Crew manager Steve Mosley from Slaithwaite fire station, said: "We had to force the door. The little boy was very distressed at first, but quickly calmed down."
