AN ICONIC star of the 80s is playing in Holmfirth.
Spandau Ballet frontman and accomplished solo artist Tony Hadley is to appear at The Picturedrome on Sunday, October 7.
This year Tony (pictured) celebrates 25 years as a professional musician.
Since going solo in the 1990s he tours with his band, which includes John Keeble, Phil Taylor, Phil Williams, Richard Barrett and Andrea Grant.
He has also made several television appearances, including an acting debut in the BBC drama Down to Earth, for which he co-wrote the theme tune.
He has also been in Ready Steady Cook and Greasemania and been stock-car racing in Celebrities Under Pressure.
Tony also won £64,000 for the Shooting Star Children’s Hospice on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? and has trekked to the old Inca city of Machu Pichu, which is on top of 1,000ft cliffs in Peru, for charity.
