Top architect Edgar Wood’s 150th anniversary to be celebrated

THE 150th anniversary of one of Huddersfield’s best known architects is to be celebrated.

Edgar Wood, who designed landmarks such as Lindley Clock Tower, will be discussed by Huddersfield University’s Head of Architecture Dr Richard Fellows at Lindley Methodist Church on January 26 (7pm).

The illustrated talk, called Edgar Wood in Context, will coincide with the anniversary of Wood’s birth.
