THE community nurses of Skelthwaite are going back on duty in Where The Heart Is.

It's an event millions will look forward to when the drama returns to the TV screens on Sunday night.

And viewers in the Examiner's area have the bonus of spotting the Colne Valley locations used as scenes.

Stars including Lesley Dunlop, Denise Van Outen and Philip Middlemiss are coming back.

And there's a new face in the shape of former Coronation Street actress Shobna Gulati, who played Sunita Alahan.

The Oldham-born actress will play district nurse Nisha Clayton - but won't be seen on screen until August.

Her character is a mum-of-two who returns to her home town of Skel- thwaite, a year after having being stabbed by a patient in a hospital ward in Sheffield.

She will be involved in a controversial storyline where she undertakes the mercy killing of an elderly patient.

Her screen husband, Jack, is played by Blue Murder actor Ian Kelsey.

Viewers will see scenes shot in Slaithwaite and Marsden, which together have become the fictional village of Skelthwaite.

The Silent Woman pub in Slaithwaite, Marsden Health Centre and Huddersfield Royal Infirmary will all be familiar to keen-eyed viewers as locations.

Love Soup and Murder City actress Andrea Lowe joins the cast this week.

And in the second episode of the series there will be a guest appearance by TV presenter/actor Matthew Kelly, as Barry, a factory worker with learning difficulties.

* Where The Heart Is will be on ITV at 9pm on Sunday.
