SCOUT Robert Quinn, from Scammonden, has received the Queen's Scout award.
Robert did a four-day expedition in the Lake District and completed 18 months service with Outlane Scouts.
He also achieved grade three on the electric guitar. Robert assisted sailing instructors at Scammonden Scout Sailing Centre and did a three-month study of fly tipping in the Scammonden area.
He is a member of the Huddersfield North Explorer Scouts.
