Crowds are forming along the route in Huddersfield and Holmfirth as excitement for the Tour de France builds.

Spectators were up early this morning to bag their spots along the race route ahead of the publicity caravan's arrival at around 12.30pm.

At Holme Moss, fans arrived on two wheels to see the riders tackle the steep climb.
