Families, couples, friends and cyclists came out in force to support the Grand Depart in Kirklees, with 60,000-strong crowds at Holme Moss alone.

From Ainley Top to the punishing Holme Moss climb, spectators cheered on the cyclists that whizzed by in a flurry of spokes, lycra and colour.
