A FREE guide for group travel organisers is being launched.
The Kirklees Group Travel Guide is designed to help organisations plan trips to the district.
It includes detailed itineraries for visitors to follow, plus full listings of museums, restaurants, places to stay and other attractions.
All of them are happy to welcome groups of up to 25 people.
The guide also includes details of activities available only for groups, such as visits to Longley Old Hall or a guided tour of Oakwell Hall at Birstall, followed by a candlelit dinner in the old hall.
Groups of over 50 people can enjoy dinner at Whiteley's Garden Centre at Mirfield, while picking up tips from demonstrations on dressing a Christmas tree or making a hanging basket.
Organisers can create their own break, or choose from the range of suggested itineraries, from the Last of the Summer Wine trail to retail therapy along the Yorkshire Mill Mile.
Culture lovers can choose to follow the arts trail or discover the Brontë connections in the area.
Clr John Smithson, Kirklees Council's Cabinet member for regeneration, said: "Kirklees offers a diverse range of attractions, from landscapes to museums."
Kirklees tourism officials also offer free advice and support for anyone interested in arranging a trip here.
Anyone who would like a free copy of the group travel guide, or more information about bringing a group to the area, should phone 01484 221686.
