TEMPORARY traffic lights are in place on a Huddersfield road while two replacement sewerage overflows are built.

Yorkshire Water's work in the Bradley Road area is due to be completed by the end of May.

The temporary lights are in Bradley Road, near the junction with Redwood Drive.

Yorkshire Water said the work was part of a £400m programme of work which will see storm overflows throughout the region upgraded or replaced.

It will help to ensure that water overflowing into water courses meets stringent standards of environmental quality.
