A MOTORCYCLIST killed in a crash in the Halifax area has been identified as a Greetland man.
Kevin Jackson, 46, of Stainland Road, died in hospital hours after his Kawasaki motorbike was in collision with a Peugeot 309 car.
The crash happened at Wakefield Road at its junction with Bankhouse Lane in Copley just before 2.10pm on Sunday.
Mr Jackson was taken to Calderdale Royal Hospital, but died later from his injuries.
The car was travelling on Wakefield Road towards Bankhouse Lane and the bike was going the other way when the tragedy happened.
