A TRAIN operator serving Huddersfield has received a highly satisfactory rating in an independent survey.
Customers of First TransPennine Express scored it 88% overall satisfaction in the National Passenger Survey which polled 30,000 passengers in the spring.
Results show that the train operator has improved in 18 of the 33 categories year-on-year with customers particularly pleased with frequency and punctuality.
Overall satisfaction with stations was marked highly with 86% of customers agreeing they were of a good standard.
Managing director Nick Donovan said,
“We are absolutely delighted with the response we have received.
“Our teams have worked extremely hard to raise the standard of service customers receive from us and I want to thank them for their commitment and helpfulness.”
